Privacy Policy

WorkboxIn ("WorkboxIn", "we", "us") provides tools for job seekers: a resume builder, an ATS checker, a portfolio website builder, job listings and career roadmaps. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We do not receive your Google password.
• Content you create. Resume content, portfolio site content and images you upload, saved ATS reports and job-application records.
• Messages from your portfolio. When a visitor submits the contact form on your published site, we store their name, email address and message so you can read it in your inbox. We also store a one-way hash of their IP address to limit abuse.
• Resume text you scan without an account. The ATS checker analyses text you paste or upload. It is processed to produce your report and is only stored if you create an account and save it.
• Usage and device data. Basic logs (pages visited, errors, browser type) used to run and secure the service.

How we use information

• To provide and improve the features you use, including saving and publishing your work.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To prevent spam and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
• To send service messages such as sign-in links and receipts. We do not sell your personal information.

Public content

Anything you publish to a WorkboxIn portfolio site is public on the internet and may be indexed by search engines. Unpublished drafts are visible only to you.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate WorkboxIn, under appropriate terms:

• Supabase (authentication, database and file storage)
• Vercel (hosting)
• Google (sign-in with Google, if you choose it)
• Payment processors, if you purchase a paid plan

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete resumes, reports and your portfolio at any time in the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact us using the address below and we will act on your request within a reasonable time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted by row-level security and server-side checks. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

WorkboxIn is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
